A CD recording format should be in accordance with ISO9660 Level1 or Level2 CD-ROM file system. DVD recording format should be in accordance with UDF Bridge file system. Note that if the file structure is very complex, you may not be able to read/play all files on the disc.
USB interface: The USB interface is compatible with USB mass storage devices including external magnetic hard drives, portable flash memories (particularly key drives) and digital audio players (MP3 players) of format FAT 16/32. It is not possible to connect this unit to a personal computer for USB playback. It is not possible to play DivX files through the USB terminal. Pioneer cannot guarantee compatibility (operation and/or bus power) with all USB mass storage devices and assumes no responsibility for any loss of data that may occur when connected to this unit. With large amounts of data, it may take longer for the system to read the contents of a USB device.
