| The innovative subwoofer uses a Twin Drive design with two 14cm speaker units and Double Down-Firing construction. Down-Firing is a type of construction whereby the sound is projected downward and spreads out evenly throughout the room. Two Down-Firing units allow the subwoofer to be compact while delivering even more powerful, rich and deep bass sound. In addition, the simultaneous movement of the two units cancels cabinet vibration, ensuring strong bass that never sounds muddy. The subwoofer can be placed vertically or horizontally, and its small depth means it can be positioned nearly anywhere, even in the corner of a room or under a bed. | ||

The New Style CX500 solves this problem with a Dual Centre Speaker, so you can simply place the centre speakers beside the flat monitor.
